manufacturing facility and will be responsible for maintaining
facility organization and improving manufacturing
efficiency.Primary Job Responsibilities:Help maintain a continuous
improvement mentality with focus on Kaizen (small change for the
better) across your facilityObserve, investigate, and effectively
communicate process improvement projects to all relevant
stakeholdersCollaborate with plant management and the corporate
continuous improvement lead to execute on process enhancements that
maximize productivity for your locationProactively looks for
process improvements and reducing or eliminating manufacturing
waste in daily workflowsLead cross-functional teams while
implementing 5S projects in various manufacturing workspacesCoach
and mentor others on Kaizen, lean manufacturing, and 5S
methodologies and practicesDrive the standardization of processes
and implementation of projects as assigned by the quality manager
and corporate continuous improvement leadIAnalyze and evaluate
existing facility processes and procedures. Discuss possible
Safety, Quality and Productivity related improvements to plant
management and the corporate continuous improvement leadAdditional
tasks on an as needed basis as defined by the quality managerReport
directly to the quality manager at your facilityTravel up to
5%Qualifications:2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing
environment with a focus on quality4-year technical degree in
mechanical or industrial engineeringExcellent communication
skillsMust be meticulous and have exceptional attention to
detailMust have experience analyzing data and identifying
trendsMulti-tasking and problem-solving a mustStrong desire to
please the customer with perfect product quality and to maintain a
