Prime Wealth Management - a Private Wealth Advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial, is seeking a fulltime Financial Planning Specialist to join our innovative and dynamic team. At Ameriprise Financial we help people feel confident about their financial future by providing comprehensive financial planning and investment consulting to families, individuals, and small organizations to help achieve financial goals and simplify their financial lives.

Job Purpose:

Serve as a Financial Planning Specialist, providing exceptionally friendly, helpful, high-quality service to our clients and help the advisors with creating financial plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with financial planning data entry
• Work with clients to gather data and statements
• Meeting preparation
• Run necessary reports
• Create and follow through with follow up letters
• Complete financial planning deliverables
• Assist with money movements
• Help with client questions and phone calls
• Document client contacts
• Perform other duties assigned by advisor
  Qualifications:
  
  • Associate's degree or higher
  • 2+ years of similar work experience in a professional office environment, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Pleasant, professional and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player
  • Highly organized, accurate, and attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient with in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Strong personal and business ethics and integrity
  • Desire to grow and learn within the practice

    • $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience
