Overview
Preparation of Federal/State Income Tax and Sales & Use Tax Returns and other responsibilities/projects as needed.
Responsibilities

• The primary focus will be to assist with the preparation and review of Federal and State income tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments primarily consisting of data gathering, validation and PBC coordination.
• Secondary responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of monthly sales and use tax returns.
• Coordinate data gathering and responding to internal and external inquiries.
• Gather data for transaction tax audits and research related issues.
• Gather data in support of property tax filings
• Assist with the calculations of foreign tax provision and financial statement reporting.
• Receive, organize, file and dispose of notices from tax authorities
• Perform domestic and international technical tax research and prepare written advice.
• Perform other responsibilities and special projects as assigned. Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting (CPA is preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax experience
  • Federal and state income tax return preparation experience
  • Sales and Use Tax return preparation experience is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Axapta, Microsoft Great Plains and/or IBM Planning Analytics (preferred)
  • Must have strong Excel skills including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates pro-active and solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures
