Responsibilities Job Description SummarySr. Process Engineer
will work to create surgery devices and kits for the medical
industry. Job will include bringing in new technologies,
retrofitting old machinery, working with vendors, validation work,
and supporting the plant operations. Job Description Be Part of

global health issues. Position Summary: The Sr. Process Engineer
position provides technical leadership for all processes and
equipment within assigned Value Stream team and/or as assigned
across the plant. The Engineer will work on both projects that
drive long term change and be hands on and work with the production
floor to solve problems. Engineer is expected to drive and lead
continuous improvement through lean six sigma methodology to
improve plant performance. Essential / Key Job Responsibilities
(including supervisory and/or fiscal): Provide daily support to
value stream teams to ensure plant success as required. Support
and/or lead internally generated changes (Process Change, Ops
Synergy, CI, CTW, etc.) Complete projects on time and at budget.
Manage capital spend. Identify new CTW opportunities to meet CTW
budget requirements. Support all new projects/products and ensure
processes and equipment are designed for sustainable long-term
manufacturing at a competitive standard cost. Manage projects
through design or change control procedures. Develop and execute
validation plans and protocols. Support Site Master Validation
Planning. Responsible for developing and sustaining manufacturing
procedures (BOMs, RTR, SPMs, Local Drawings, etc.). Design,
implement, and sustain manufacturing layouts to promote single
piece flow. Support preventative maintenance system to maintain
acceptable product quality and/or validated state. Troubleshoot
equipment and process issues. Challenge all major equipment and
process failures with root cause analysis and improvement plans.
Promote visual management systems, pull manufacturing, single piece
flow, and continuous improvement (OEE, TPM, SPC, etc.) through lean
six sigma methodology. Sustain/develop/establish capable processes
and equipment. Support process monitoring. Identify and eliminate
process drift to eliminate quality defects and excessive downtime.
Communicate and maintain favorable rapport with team leaders,
engineering, maintenance, and production associates. Provide
technical leadership and coaching to engineering, maintenance, and
production associates. Train associates as required. Understand and
support PFMEA and Test Method Validations. Supervise assigned
technicians and/or engineers. Participates and may own 5S elements
at plant. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related
results as needed. May require working off shift or weekends. May
be on-call for emergencies. Performs a variety of routine and
non-routine work as assigned. Works within clearly defined SOPs
and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Education and/or Experience: B.S. Engineering with 5 years of
manufacturing experience, minimum. For certain roles at BD,
