Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for the production of high-precision parts. You will read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining. The role involves editing and troubleshooting G-code programs, performing tool changes, and making adjustments to maintain part quality. You will also inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and maintain tight tolerances as specified. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models. Edit and troubleshoot G-code programs for efficient machining. Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain part quality. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes as required by specifications. Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards. Essential Skills 3 years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency with CNC programming, particularly G-code. Experience with both CNC mills and lathes is a plus. Employees have the flexibility to create their own schedule as long as they work 8-hour shifts. The workspace is designed to be clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
