Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who is highly fluent with HAAS mill controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing setups, selecting tooling, and programming at the controls. The candidate should be a self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow. Proficiency in reading measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges is essential. Responsibilities Operate and maintain HAAS mill controls with expertise. Conduct own setups and select appropriate tooling for projects. Program at the controls to ensure accurate machining processes. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Utilize measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges to ensure precision. Participate in quizzes to demonstrate proficiency in decimals, fractions, and machining principles. Essential Skills Fluency in HAAS mill controls. Ability to perform setups and tooling selections independently. Proficiency in programming at the controls. Strong understanding of measuring instruments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Manual machining experience is a significant advantage. Tooling experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Preferred CNC experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable setting for all employees. The standard shift is from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Catoosa, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
