Job Description:
Join American Airlines at our Fort Worth, TX headquarters as an
Aviation Maintenance Technician - Machinist, where your expertise
in machining will play a pivotal role in maintaining our extensive
fleet. This position requires precision and dedication, as you'll
be responsible for the detailed machining of aircraft parts and
assemblies, ensuring the highest standards of safety and
efficiency. You'll work in a dynamic environment that upholds the

mission of connecting the world effortlessly. Perform precision
machining of aircraft parts using both CNC and conventional
machines. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and
schematics. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repair
work on aircraft components. Collaborate with engineering teams to
troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Maintain detailed
records of maintenance activities in accordance with FAA
regulations. Ensure the work environment and equipment adhere to
safety standards. Expertise in CNC and conventional machining
processes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical
documents. Strong understanding of aviation materials and
maintenance protocols. Ability to work in teams and communicate
effectively. High attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Certified Machinist (e.g., NIMS) is advantageous.
