Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Ardent Health Services includes 30 hospitals and more than 200 sites of care.--We have an exciting opportunity to join Hillcrest Medical Center as a Nurse Director of Operations (RN Director, Operations / Director, Nursing Administration).----POSITION SUMMARY--The Nurse Director of Operations is a professional registered nurse with leadership in clinical operations, performance improvement and labor optimization. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director of Operations works in close partnership to nursing leadership, medical staff, and quality personnel to provide mission-focused, strategic leadership and oversight of nursing clinical operations. Leads and manages the financial and clinical operations of the staffing office, house supervisors, float pool and clinical monitoring systems (Avasure) as well as oversees schedule effectiveness, throughput, and bed management programs for the hospital. Responsibilities
    • Executes strategic planning, leads mentoring/coaching and identifying nursing leadership workforce succession strategy.
    • Oversight of physician relationships and engagement.
    • Collaborates with marketing and nursing leadership in marketing, community outreach, and visibility.
    • Promotes and leads team as assigned to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient care where patient satisfaction, improved throughput and quality outcomes are the primary goals.
    • Deploys changes to EPIC system and evaluates to assure successful implementation.
    • Ensures collaboration with regulatory agencies. Audits regularly and takes action to improve compliance,
    • Development and oversight of quality initiatives, staffing and productivity guidelines, and customer service goals.
    • Analyzes and monitors compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency standards.
    • Develops, implements, and evaluates policies, standards and programs that support and unit/departments in provisions of services.
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and training to produce optimal outcomes.
    • Develops and submits budget strategies and capital budgets as needed.
    • Initiates activities to enhance revenues and support cost reduction and containment activities.
    • Demonstrates empathy, intentionally works to put others at ease. QualificationsExperience
      • Minimum of 5 years in leadership experience in clinical operations, performance improvement, and/or labor optimizationEducation/Certification
        • Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
        • Master's Degree in Nursing and/or related field, preferred.
        • Current RN license in OklahomaKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
          • --Requires strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
