L3Harris-Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems. Job Description: L3 Aeromet is accepting Project Manager (PM) candidates for the PM position for Software Services (SW) programs and High Performance Computing (HPC) solutions business area. The SW/HPC PM position assists the Program Manager in managing the SW/HPC business area to include contract scope with respect to development, integration, and operation and sustainment (O&S) of new and existing software programs. The SW/HPC PM drives program execution in order to achieve key customer program performance requirements and company business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow. Responsible for the cost, schedule, technical, risk, and change management performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Assists business development in the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts. Acts as a customer contact for program activities, supporting program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Works with site management and customers to support strategic priorities, advance capabilities and grow product line. Tracking and reporting on milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtains solutions. Receives assignments, direction and mentoring from the Program Manager. Assists in directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Primary customer contact for program activities, supporting program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Assists in maintaining SW/HPC roadmaps and identifying new program opportunities. Works with PMO and Business Development to prepare proposals including accomplishing management and technical writing responses, gathering assumptions and stipulations, building quality basis of estimates, supporting pricing activities, preparing and presenting company Gate reviews, and assisting with Contractual proposal submittals.

• Candidates should be comfortable with leading in a high-growth and dynamic business area subject to frequent changes and updates. The SW/HPC PM drives program excellence and fosters continual improvement. Essential Functions:
• Project Finance (monitoring performance, budgeting, forecasting, cost collection, invoicing, and analysis) with emphasis on Earned Value processes
• Experience working MS Office Product Suite with special emphasis on MS Project knowledge
• Communication (works across multiple levels within the company and direct customer interface)
• Planning, risk and change management
• Reporting to PMO Leadership Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. OR
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Project Management training
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD decret cleareance Preferred Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of defense software development programs.
• DoD SECRET or higher clearance (preferred) OR
• Eligibility to obtain DoD TS/SCI
• Familiarity or experience in Agile environments using SCRUM methodologies to execute software programs.
• Familiarity with ProPricer software a plus
• PMP Certification a plus
