Job Description:
Job Title: Director - Information Technology
Report To: VP - Information Technology
Job Summary:
Primary leader to oversee the IT organization and operations for
the Reasor's Banner of stores. Leads the development,
implementation and support of technologies to enable the business.
Hires, motivates and supervises the team of partners to provide IT
services to the organization. Coordinates planning and delivery
across Reasor's and BGC business units. Develops short and long
term plans to support the growth and integration of Reasor's IT
solutions and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* - Supervises all aspects of the IT function for the Reasors
Banner, to include managing the people, projects, operations,
budgets and business alignment for IT.
* - Oversees the IT organization, building the staff and skills of
the organization through hiring and internal coaching and
development.
* - Coordinates planning for projects and systems, establishing
appropriate alignment with the larger BGC strategies and plans.
* - Partners with Reasor's and BGC leadership to ensure there is
effective communication and alignment between the
organizations.
* - Oversees project planning and delivery, ensuring appropriate
processes and methodologies are defined and used.
* - Responsible for the support and improvements to existing
applications and software services for the Reasor's enterprise.
* - Coordinates the evaluation, selection and adoption of new
technologies and solutions, consistent with enterprise standards
and in alignment with the larger BGC organization.
* - Responsible to ensure appropriate service levels are maintained
for Reasor's systems, including networks, servers, desktops, and
other service platforms, whether those are directly managed by the
Reasor's team or supported by the larger BGC organization.
* - Acts as a liaison between the Reasor's and BGC IT teams,
ensuring partners and teams are aligned and connected while working
toward common goals.
* - Oversees the information security processes, technologies and
administration, including compliance with industry requirements.
Ensures consistency with BGC security practices and standards.
* - Responsible for all administrative activities for the IT
organization, to include budgeting, reviews, reporting, and
adherence to policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* - Broad knowledge of enterprise technologies with an emphasis on
both custom and commercial software applications, integration
technologies and tools, and database management systems.
Familiarity with infrastructure, networks and security is a
plus.
* - Extensive experience with planning and delivering IT
solutions
* - Strong understanding of SDLC concepts, processes and
methodologies.
* - Strong understanding of project management practices and
methodologies.
* - Ability to build and lead teams, with strong skills at
attracting and retaining IT talent.
* - Ability to build relationships and interact effectively across
all levels of the organization.
* - Exceptional communication skills, both formal and informal, to
include reports and presentations.
* - Ability to accurately estimate project planning and completion
times.
* - Strong administrative skills, to include team and department
planning and budgeting.
* - Ability to understand technical ramifications of
recommendations and decisions.
* - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* - Ability to lead and motivate others.
* - Ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities.
* - Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and
processes.
* - Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive
information.
* - Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town
locations with possible overnight stays.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
* - Bachelor's Degree in related field and ten or more years of
related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience
and/or higher education required.
* - Demonstrated experience at leading large IT projects and
programs
* - Multi-platform experience across diverse technologies
* - Proven experience at leading and growing teams
* - Proven experience in developing strategic and tactical plans,
with a track record of successful implementations
* - Strong skills at managing cross-functional relationships.
* - Retail experience preferred.

* - Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision,
depth perception or the ability to focus.

and typing).
