Job Description:

Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions is seeking a Facility Manager for its facility in Catoosa, OK.

This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of handling complex manufacturing of asphalt-based products including oxidized asphalt and paving grade asphalt and must exhibit a lead by example leadership style. This person must have the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, sales staff, community, and regulatory agencies.

This position is responsible for leading and managing all the aspects of operations with an emphasis on SAFETY, REGULATORY COMPLIANCE, and PRODUCT QUALITY. In order to meet the needs of our customers, this person will be responsible for planning and establishing work schedules and production activities in a cost-efficient manner, hiring and training employees, maintenance of current assets in terms of cost and utilization, delivery of products in and out of plant, inventory management, project coordination with corporate engineering and contractors, and continuous improvement of all plant operations and costs.

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree is preferred with 3 - 5 years' experience in the petroleum industry, high level leadership and decision-making skills. The ability to motivate, influence, and train people as well as excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communications skills are also preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.), mechanical knowledge, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and to work well with others.

Requirements:

Must be able to lift or move objects that weigh up to fifty pounds or more with additional assistance. May be required to walk and stand on hard surfaces for extended period of time, climbing stairs, ladders, and opening and closing values (twisting of body).
