Medcare Staffing is currently seeking a hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity in Claremore, OK. Since this is a government opportunity, ANY state license is accepted. Claremore is a city and the county seat of Rogers County in Green Country or northeastern Oklahoma, United States. Located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, the town is part of the Tulsa Metropolitan Area. 7am to 7pm starting shifts March or Per Diem shifts available New onboarding will require 2-3 days of orientation Admission/Discharge MedSurg ICU Telemetry Acute Medicine Interpretation of Electrocardiograms Consultation for other inpatient servicesHospitalists shall provide medical care for acute and chronically ill patients in an inpatient setting .We cover malpractice and travel. Qualifications A. Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.B. Physicians shall be Board Certified in or Board Eligible as stated in section 4.C Documentation of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification. Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is desired.E. Shall speak, understand, read and write English fluently and communicate with sufficient clarity to be understood by IHS personnel and patients.F. Shall be a United States Citizen.G. Shall possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity such that he/she can relate constructively to patients of the American Indian/ Alaska Native communities.H. Shall maintain standards of personal hygiene and grooming such that his/her image as a physician is compatible with the expectations of the on-site Clinical Director.I. Shall have a current DEA license and State CDS license, if required by the DEA.J.
