hospital.---- ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do--The Nurse Externship
at Hillcrest Medical Center allows senior-level nursing students to
work side-by-side with RNs and other licensed professionals. You
can explore different types of nursing from Acute Inpatient to
Critical Care. You will gain valuable clinical experience designed
to assist with the transition from student to professional nurse.

QualificationsWhat You'll BringTo be considered for the Summer
program you must be enrolled in the last two semesters of an
accredited RN program or must have completed 2 semesters in a 5
semester program. Hospital orientation will be held May 30th - June
2nd.-- Students must--be able to complete orientation in full.--You
must also submit along with your application (by email):- 2 letters
of recommendation from nursing--instructors- Copy of nursing school
competency (skills checklist)- An unofficial transcriptAfter
submitting your application you may send additional documentation
