- Incumbent would perform forensic evaluations on pretrial
consumers and those adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. -
Will provide testimony in high profile/capital cases that are more
likely to result in media attention for ODMHSAS. - Will also serve
as a primary faculty in developing and implementing training of
ODMHSAS community forensic evaluators. - May serve as the Director
of Forensic Psychology in the Director's absence and provides
significant contributions/leadership in special projects or
performance improvement activities. - -Job Type/Salary:

- Annual Salary is (Forensic Psychologist II) $84,700, (Forensic
Psychologist I) $77,000, (Psychologist) $70,000
- Primary Working Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm

- Vacancies: -1 -Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- (Forensic Psychologist II) - Completion of the curriculum
requirements for a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology
from an APA accredited program (or its equivalent as determined by
the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.) -
Completion of a one year pre-doctoral internship, including direct
supervision from a psychologist licensed in the state with
specialization in clinical or counseling psychology. - Current
licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of
Psychologists. - Minimum of four years of post-doctoral specialized
training in the evaluation and/or treatment of forensic clients;
including at least two years of licensure. - Experience with
providing expert testimony at a minimum of five court hearings,
with the ability to testify in a professional manner of forensic
issues. -
- (Forensic Psychologist I) - Completion of the curriculum
requirements for a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology
from an APA accredited program (or its equivalent as determined by
the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.) -
Completion of a one-year pre-doctoral internship, including direct
supervision from a psychologist licensed in the state with
specialization in clinical or counseling psych ology. - Current
licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of
Psychologists. - Minimum of one year of post-doctoral specialized
training in the evaluation and/or treatment of forensic clients. -
Experience with providing expert testimony during at least one
legal proceeding (or during a mock trial if no opportunity for
actual testimony exists.)
- (Psychologist) - Completion of the curriculum requirements for
doctorate in psychology from an accredited college or university
with a specialty in counseling psychology and one academic year in
a full-time post-masters or pre-doctoral internship, or one year
full-time experience under the direct supervision of a psychologist
licensed in the major program of doctoral study. - Must be
currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of
Psychologists; or eligible for license and willing to obtain
licensure within a time frame to be determined by the Executive
Director. - -Special Requirements:
- Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related
travel normally associated with this position and as such have a

Oklahoma Forensic Center in Northeast Oklahoma (Vinita) is the
largest inpatient behavioral health facility in the ODMHSAS system.
- We employ around 260 individuals and house approximately 200
consumers whom have been found incompetent for adjudication or
adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. - -Drug and
Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: - Upon a
conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive
positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for
drugs. -Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be
contingent upon a negative drug test result. -THIS AGENCY REQUIRES
COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY
