License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
Certification Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, decisive
judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to work
in a stressful environment Job Description: - Provide direct
nursing care in compliance with established policies, procedures,
and protocols of the healthcare organization. - Implement and
monitor comprehensive patient care plans. - Document and
communicate patient conditions effectively. - Serve as a primary
coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. -
Execute physician and nursing orders diligently. - Assess and
collaborate on discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. -
Operate within the scope of the job, demonstrating critical
thinking and decisive judgment. - Utilize personal protective
equipment following Standard Precautions. - Work in a 23-bed
step-down/progressive care unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of
1:3-5, supported by PCTs and a Healthcare Unit Coordinator. -
Engage in virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry, supported by
monitor techs. This RN Step Down position offers an opportunity to
work in a dynamic and supportive environment, ensuring quality care
for the adult population.
