Skills/Experience: The ED nurse is responsible for assessing
patients. The ED nurse plans and evaluates patient care. The ED
nurse educates patients and families as needed. The ED nurse
utilizes appropriate resources to optimize patient care and patient
flow. The ED nurse follows the pain assessment policy by assessing
complaints of pain and assisting with pain management. The ED nurse
participates in patient safety and risk management programs, as
well as Quality Improvement initiatives. Description: This position
is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The nurse will
assess the needs of patients in the emergency setting. The nurse
will be involved in critical decision-making and patient
management. The role includes collaboration with a
