Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring 3 years of L&D experience and current NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities - Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital - Night shift schedule with two 12-hour shifts per week (18:30 - 07:00) - Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:3 - Weekend shifts required, totaling 16 per contract - No on-call responsibilities - Floating within scope required for helping hands or sitter roles, but no patient assignments when floating - Level 3 Trauma Center - Uses Epic charting system; Epic experience is required - Team-based care environment with variable scrub colors by unit - Pre-start online modules must be completed prior to start - No holiday time off approved; maximum of 5 RTO days allowed per 13-week contract, with no additional RTO after submission - Zero-fault attendance policy is strictly enforced; any missed scheduled shift counts as unexcused, with two resulting in a warning and three or more in possible cancellation - Free parking is available - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers - Commitment to compliance lab visit within 48-72 hours of signing is required - Candidates who have previously worked for this facility as a traveler or permanent employee need special consideration Requirements - Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration - Minimum 3 years recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required - NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications required - AWHONN Intermediate and STABLE certifications preferred - Must have completed at least two successful travel assignments as an RN, with no performance or attendance issues - Epic EMR experience required and must be confirmed - No background or license hits allowed - Pending licenses will not be considered Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627871.
