Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech Job Details: • Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures to provide accurate measurements and images for physician diagnosis • Conduct adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures including TEE and stress echo • Perform peripheral vascular procedures including arterials, renals, and transcranial Doppler • Assist physicians with complex procedures in OR, Hybrid lab, Cath lab including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, and Lariet procedures • Provide immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians • Operate ultrasound equipment and utilize ancillary devices such as transducers and digital networking systems • Exercise appropriate judgment in notification of abnormal results to reading physicians • Maintain proper documentation according to lab, departmental, and hospital policies • Participate in on-call rotation after regular business hours • Minimum 6 months of related experience required • High school diploma or GED required • Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program preferred • Must maintain current ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI (RCS or RVS) registry certification • BLS certification required • Ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills • Excellent communication skills with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare staff required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound department that provides critical diagnostic services for life-saving treatment interventions.
