Job Description Details - Department: Cath Lab - Schedule: Full Time Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm - Call required. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. - Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. - Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures. - Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. - Perform set up and provides equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. - Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
