Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered
Nurse to join our Oncology department. As a faith-based healthcare

part of a team that focuses on providing advanced oncology nursing
care to patients in a supportive and faith-oriented environment.
Provide direct and personalized nursing care to oncology patients.
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement
nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administrate
medications, monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or
behavior. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate
coordinated care. Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, medications, and treatment plans. Maintain a safe and
clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations. Support patient's emotional and spiritual needs
aligned with Ascension’s core values. Proficient in clinical skills
with an emphasis on patient care in oncology. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team and to
build strong working relationships. Capacity to handle stressful
situations and make decisions under pressure. Knowledge of
healthcare software and systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license. Oncology
Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
