Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure excellence in patient care Monitor patient care for quality and adhere to established procedures and standards Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Promote patient safety and ensure staff compliance with healthcare regulations Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures Assist in the management of department resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness Lead by example, providing direct patient care when needed Facilitate continuous education and professional development of staff Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Ability to handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions Proficiency in clinical skills appropriate for an RN in a hospital setting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
