Job Description:
Ascension seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
Telemetry/Kidney Transplant to join our compassionate team. In

will play a pivotal role in providing high-level, personalized care
to patients undergoing kidney transplant and telemetry monitoring.
Our approach integrates the latest healthcare technology with the

direct nursing care in accordance with established policies,
procedures, and protocols of Ascension. Monitor, record, and
communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized
documentation systems. Interpret and act on telemetry readings,
adjusting patient care plans collaboratively with doctors.
Administer medications and treatments specifically tailored for
kidney transplant patients. Educate patients and their families on
illness, wellness, and preventive care, focusing on the specifics
of renal health. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Participate in
educational opportunities and professional organizations to stay
abreast of the latest practices in telemetry and kidney care.
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation. In-depth
knowledge of kidney care, pre and post-transplant care protocols.
Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient safety and quality.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team. High level of
compassion and empathy. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in
the state of employment. BLS certified; ACLS preferred.
Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Certified Nephrology
Nurse - Nurse Practitioner (CNN-NP) is a plus.
