Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM • Every other weekend required • 13-week travel assignment • Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • Minimum 2 years stepdown experience required • Gray scrub color required • Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe care delivery • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care • Must live greater than 50 miles from facility to qualify for travel assignment Facility: This healthcare facility operates a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry department providing specialized care for patients requiring continuous monitoring and intermediate-level medical attention.
