Key Responsibilities Provide continuous nursing care during labor, delivery, and recovery Perform maternal and fetal assessments, including fetal heart rate monitoring Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric procedures Administer medications, IV fluids, epidurals, and oxytocin per provider orders Monitor labor progress and recognize complications or emergencies Provide patient education on labor process, pain management, and postpartum care Support mothers and families emotionally throughout labor and delivery 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Different regions may incorporate alternative medicine practices into healthcare.
