Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician Needed ASAP - Ongoing (Near
Havana, AR) (j-233256) Are you a board-certified OB/GYN physician
seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a supportive

skilled and dedicated physician to join our team and provide
long-term coverage for a critical need within our obstetrics and
gynecology department. This locum tenens position offers a
combination of scheduled clinic hours and call coverage, allowing
you to contribute significantly to both women's healthcare and

care. Diverse Patient Population: Treat women across all stages of
life, from routine gynecological exams and preventative care to
prenatal care, labor and delivery, and post-partum support.
Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a predictable clinic schedule with
manageable patient volume (5-10 patients per shift) while
participating in a call rotation to ensure continuous care for
patients requiring urgent or emergent obstetric and gynecological
intervention. Supportive Team Environment: Collaborate with a
dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare
professionals focused on providing high-quality and compassionate
women's healthcare. Modern Electronic Medical Records: Utilize a
dual system of Athena and Meditech electronic medical records
systems to ensure efficient documentation and communication.
Streamlined Credentialing Process: While temporary privileges can
be facilitated to expedite your start date, board certification is
required within 60 days of employment. What You'll Do: Conduct
comprehensive evaluations and examinations for women across all
stages of life, addressing a variety of gynecological concerns and
prenatal care needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment
plans for both inpatients and outpatients, including potential
management of high-risk pregnancies and collaborative care with
other specialists as needed. Perform a variety of in-office
procedures, potentially including biopsies, IUD insertions, and
other gynecological interventions. Deliver babies in a supportive
and collaborative environment, providing exceptional care to
mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. Manage post-partum
care for mothers and newborns, ensuring a smooth transition and
addressing any concerns. Provide ongoing patient education and
counseling regarding women's health topics, treatment options,
recovery plans, and follow-up care. Manage patient care tasks and
communication with the healthcare team to maintain efficient clinic
operations and inpatient coordination. Document all patient
interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures thoroughly
and efficiently within the Athena and Meditech electronic medical
records systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in
obstetrics and gynecology and participate in ongoing professional
development opportunities (time permitting). Who You Are: Doctor of
Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice
medicine in Arkansas (only). Board-certified in Obstetrics and
Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
(ABOG) (required). Current BLS certification (required). A
commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to
women across all stages of life, from routine gynecological exams
to complex obstetric cases. Excellent communication, collaboration,
and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary
team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ability to
