Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,182 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7p-7a / every other weekend rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Zero (0) - six (6) months of related experience License: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS & PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: 2 years strong Emergency Room experience Description: The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies and procedures. The role involves monitoring and evaluating patient functional status. Utilizes the nursing process in caring for assigned patients. Completes assessment and individualizes plan of care within established unit nursing guidelines. Carries out nursing care while considering cultural and psychosocial factors and the ages of individual patients. Organizes, prioritizes, and performs nursing skills appropriate for the patient population. Anticipates patient and unit needs. Demonstrates a sound knowledge base in bio-psychosocial factors. Delegates and communicates effectively and appropriately. Demonstrates professional judgment in response to changing patient and unit situations. Documents steps of the nursing process and care in the appropriate record. Records data concisely, consistently, accurately, and legibly. Utilizes correct medical terminology and abbreviations. Addresses problems and progress toward outcomes according to nursing policy. Facilitates patient teaching and discharge planning. Makes timely and appropriate referrals. Utilizes resources in planning and presenting patient education, considering patient age and cultural and psychosocial factors. Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate. Supports unit and hospital goals through performance improvement and educational activities. Attends mandatory in-services and meets unit education standards. Accurately completes variance reports. Exercises independent judgment in planning operations and making decisions in complex technical or professional fields. Works directly with patients and customers. Engages with other healthcare professionals and staff. Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Possesses the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently. Exhibits attention to detail in the examination of clinical and numerical data.
