Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 9 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel JA3 Facility Name: Mercy Hospital Fort Smith Floor: N/A Location Address: 7301 Rogers Ave., Fort Smith, AR, 72903 Position Information: • Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN • Specialty: Medical ICU • Number of Openings: 1 • Shift: Days– 3x12 • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend • Call Requirements: N/A • Required Certifications: Current Arkansas Licensure/ BLS/ ACLS • Years of Experience: 2 years • Float Requirements: float to stepdown & med surg Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 32 • Patient Ratios: 2:1, 3:1 • Equipment: N/A • EMR: EPIC Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: Critical Care - To ensure patient safety it is mandatory that all licensed co-workers who provide direct patient care pass a medication and math competency test before assuming medication administration responsibilities. This exam will cover knowledge of the actions and side effects of commonly used drugs along with math regarding correct dosages and IV problems. The passing grade on this exam is 90% and it may be repeated one time. Failure to pass the retake may result in termination of employment. • Preferred Skillset/Experience: CCRN • Type of Patients on Unit: N/A • Personality Fit: Looking for upbeat and driven nurses.
