Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Night position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and BLS/ACLS certifications in hand. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Medical-surgical unit in a hospital setting - Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) - Every other weekend required - Floating is required - Previous travel nursing experience preferred - No travel pairs or groups accepted - Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler - Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration - No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation /n /n Requirements/n - Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand at time of consideration - 1-2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - Epic EMR experience preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-675974.
