Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is
seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a
specialization in telemetry for a travel position. In this role,
you will be pivotal in providing top-tier health service while
ensuring the comfort and safety of patients in telemetry units
across our expansive network. This position requires a high level
of skill and the ability to adapt to new environments and teams
quickly. Our ideal candidate will share our commitment to

innovation. Monitor patient vitals and operate telemetry equipment.
Assess patients' health problems and needs, and develop nursing
care plans. Administer patient medications and treatments safely
and effectively. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients
and their families about the care plan. Maintain accurate, detailed
reports and records of patient care. Travel between facilities
within the network to provide patient care as needed. Train and
mentor junior staff and participate in educational workshops to
maintain and enhance nursing skills. Strong clinical skills in
telemetry and patient care. Proficiency in using healthcare
software and telemetry devices. Excellent organizational and
multi-tasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to handle high-stress environments with calmness
and professionalism. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Certification in telemetry nursing is highly advantageous.
