Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid RN license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge
experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 2:1 -
Experience with charting systems - Travel experience preferred
Description: The CVICU unit welcomes first-time travelers. Critical
care nursing experience is required. Responsibilities include
managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
Experience with cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and blood product
administration is essential. Nurses will assist with the management
of ventilated patients. Candidates must float to similar units as
needed based on facility needs. Patient demographics include adults
and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 20 patients with
a total of 24 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes physical
therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The unit deals with a
mix of cardiac surgical and medical patients. Every other weekend
