Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered Nurse OB High Risk to join our faith-based healthcare organization. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized, top-tier care to high-risk obstetrical patients at one of our advanced healthcare facilities. This position requires a deep understanding of prenatal care, labor and delivery processes, and postnatal care, especially pertaining to complicated pregnancies. Provide direct and specialized care for high-risk obstetric patients, Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, Monitor fetal heart rate, and mother’s vital signs, report any unusual findings to obstetrician or midwife, Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses, Advise and support patients through high-risk pregnancies, Maintain patient records and prepare reports on patient status, Communicate effectively with patients and their families about the plan of care, Strong understanding of fetal assessments and labor monitoring, In-depth knowledge of high-risk pregnancy management, Ability to administer and understand the effects of prescribed medication during pregnancy, Proficient in the use of medical software and electronic health records, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment, Certification in Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
