Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered
Nurse for our Newborn Nursery who is passionate about providing
exceptional care to the youngest patients and their families. In

care of newborns in their first moments and days of life, ensuring
that the infants and their parents experience the highest quality

ensure optimal health during their stay in the nursery. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed by a pediatrician. Educate
and support parents on newborn care and feeding techniques.
Document all patient care services through electronic medical
records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
comprehensive care. Participate in continuous education to remain
updated with the latest in newborn care. Strong understanding of
neonatal care principles. Ability to operate neonatal equipment
safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills with an
emphasis on educating and comforting families. Detail-oriented with
strong documentation skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state
of employment. CPR certification required. Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) certification preferred.
