Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered
Nurse to specialize in Telemetry and Kidney Transplant care in our
faith-based, innovative healthcare network. This position offers a

personalized, faith-based care. Monitor telemetry and other
critical vitals, identifying any abnormal kidney function and
initiating appropriate interventions. Administer medications, track
patient responses, and update patient records to ensure accurate
and timely healthcare communications. Collaborate with healthcare
teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans specific
to renal health and post-transplant treatment. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to patients and families undergoing
kidney transplant and post-operative recovery. Educate patients and
their families on disease management, transplantation,
post-operative care, and lifestyle adjustments. Participate in
continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
and service delivery within the telemetry and transplant unit.
Strong knowledge of telemetry and kidney transplant care practices.
Excellent patient assessment skills and proficiency in clinical
interventions and protocols. Ability to manage complex patient
situations and prioritize effectively in a high-stress environment.
Proficient with healthcare IT systems and electronic health
records. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable
of explaining complex issues to patients and families.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach with dedication to ethical
healthcare. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the
state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Certified Nephrology
Nurse (CNN-NP) is highly preferred.
