Details - Work in a 28-bed Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown Intermediate Care unit - Care for patients with all cardiac needs using telemetry monitoring - Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-6 - Unit support includes PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs - Shift is 18:30-07:00 (night shift) - 13-week contract assignment Requirements - Active OK or compact RN license required - Current BLS certification from AHA required - At least 1 year of relevant RN experience required - Nursys license verification and primary source verification needed within 30 days prior to start - NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS) preferred - Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address Additional Information - Responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans - Serves as primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care - Works with PCTs, healthcare coordinators, and monitor techs for comprehensive support - Required to use personal protective equipment and follow Standard Precautions - Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on facility's radius rule American Traveler Job ID P-672916.
