Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/25/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Facility Info: Mercy Hospital Fort Smith 7301 Rogers Ave Fort Smith, AR 72903 Specialty: RN OR Shift: 7am-5pm Requirements: 4YRS Exp Working in Specialty 4YRS Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting ACTIVE BLS (AHA) ACTIVE ACLS (AHA) Must Have Skills/Experience: Must have CVOR and Vascular OR experience - Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with hospital policy/procedure, all nursing division standards of practice, hospital, community, national standards and regulatory agency requirements. Completes patient assessment and develops plan of care in collaboration with surgical team, standards of care and departmental policies. Assesses and documents patient's physical, mental and emotional needs. Recognizes potential problems and abnormal findings and communicates to appropriate surgical team member. Documents nursing interventions and treatments along with patient response. Documents perioperative data accurately and appropriately.
