working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN
in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74127! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 3
years working experience in a hospital setting preferred. License:
Valid License required at the time of submission. Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Epic experience required.
Description: Epic experience is required. If the traveler does not
have recent Epic experience, cancellation may occur. Charting
experience must be noted next to each assignment on the profile.
This is a hard requirement. The unit is ICU. The shift consists of
3 consecutive night shifts. Patient ratios are typically 1:2, with
occasional 1:3. Weekend shifts consist of 3 shifts within a 6-week
period. Floating to Med Surg and ER may be required depending on
census. Travelers must not have previously worked as a traveler or
permanent employee at this facility. The facility has a zero-fault
attendance policy. Travelers must complete all assigned modules
prior to the start date. No time off requests are allowed after
submission or while working on contract. Top diagnoses and
procedures include CRRT, cardiac surgery, respiratory failure, and
DKA. Special procedures performed on the unit include central line
setup and management. Travelers are expected to manage multiple
drips and provide care for ventilated patients. The facility
supports various interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy
and respiratory services. Applicants must have specific ICU
experience as LTAC does not count. There are no holiday time off
requests allowed during the contract period. Travelers may succeed
in unit-specific procedures and care management. Management of
dysrhythmias and interpretation of arterial blood gases are also
required. Travelers are expected to float to Medical Surgical/Tele
settings, with a maximum ratio of 1:5. All requirements and
expectations must be acknowledged. Candidate references are
required from managers or unit supervisors from relevant
