Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Edmond, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Edmond, Oklahoma, 73034! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience License: Current RN License issued by the state nursing board or current multistate compact RN License Certifications: Current Basic Life Support and ACLS Must-Have: Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to patients with a variety of health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients. Observes physiological manifestations of patients and intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed. Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with family and patients to share care plans while in the hospital and at the time of discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains good working relationships with other employees. Possesses good verbal and written communication skills. Responds effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
