Northeast Tech MOCK POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ARC STUDENTS (NOT
A REAL JOB POSTING) Position: Certified Nurse Assistant Starting
Date: February 1, 2025 Shift: Days, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Education:
Long Term Care Aide, Home Health Aide Experience: One year of acute
care, surgery, and/or oncology experience. Will consider new
graduate. License/ Certification: Possess a current Oklahoma State
License for Home Health Aid and Long Term Care Aid. Physical
Requirements: Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine
dexterity and be able to handle/grip/squeeze and perform repetitive
activity and demonstrate speed/movement/velocity. Must be capable
of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting, carrying greater than
35 pounds with assistance and be able to push/pull, climb, balance,
stoop/bend, kneel, walk, sit, crouch/squat, stand, hold,
flex/position, twist and reach. Summary: Provides professional
nursing care within an outpatient clinical setting. Coordinates
care planning through scheduling and effective communication with
other providers and staff. Systematically evaluates the quality and
effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient’s goals.
Expected to give patient education regarding disease process,
testing, surgery and self care/preventative maintenance. Assists in
answering patient questions by telephone or in person. Observes
safety guidelines and safe work practices. Oversees healthcare
employees if needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
