Team as a Locum Physician - General Medicine in Edmond, OK Are you
a dedicated and skilled physician looking to make a meaningful

motivated Locum Physician specializing in General Medicine to
support veteran healthcare services in Edmond, OK. This pivotal
role ensures our nation's heroes receive outstanding medical
evaluations through flexible scheduling and rewarding compensation.
Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) with active state
medical license Proven experience in general medicine, internal
medicine, family medicine, or related fields Proficiency in
conducting compensation and pension examinations Strong clinical
assessment skills, including physical examinations and
interview-based evaluations Familiarity with musculoskeletal,
diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions Ability to evaluate
respiratory, neurological, and cardiovascular health Competence
with Goniometer use and METs testing Excellent documentation skills
and ability to complete standardized forms accurately within
stipulated timeframes Proficient in record review and reporting
using provider portals Ability to work independently, prioritize
tasks, and adapt to flexible schedules Own a personal laptop
(Windows-based preferred), with reliable internet access Nice to
Have Skills: Certification in Disability Benefits Questionnaires
(DBQ) and DMA certification Experience with Musculoskeletal,
Diabetes, and Cardio patient management Prior experience with
veteran or military healthcare assessments Ability to perform both
half-day and full-day examinations Knowledge of the Reach360
training platform and digital reporting tools Preferred Education
and Experience: Medical license in good standing within the state
of Oklahoma At least 2 years of clinical experience in general
medicine or related specialty Previous experience in compensation
and pension evaluations preferred but not required Familiarity with
federal and state healthcare regulations Other Requirements:
Availability to work in Lawton or Stillwater, OK, approximately one
day per week Willingness to perform interviews and physical
assessments at VES leased facilities or within your practice
Ability to complete exams and reports promptly within 48 hours
Valid Certifications or willingness to obtain DMA certification
(training provided) Travel reimbursement available for case
coverage outside local areas Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Rate:
$624.00 (flat rates for half-day and full-day shifts) Weekly Pay
