Department: Operating Room Schedule : Full Time Days; Monday
through Friday; 6:15am - 2:45pm; must be able to work holidays

treat emergency and trauma patients along with scheduled
procedures. We have 43 Operating Room suites and perform
approximately 20,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries a year.
Specialties offered are: Cardiovascular, Vascular, Orthopedics,
Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Urology (Kidney
Transplant), Robots, Gynecology, Plastics and Eyes. Our RN's are
offered an in-depth comprehensive orientation that allows them to
train in every specialty ensuring they have the necessary tools and
experience to be successful. Following orientation, you will

Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity
to supervise and coordinate unit staffing and provides leadership
while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality
patient care in assigned area.Responsibilities:
- Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support
staff during assigned shift. Contributes to or performs performance
evaluations of staff.
- Assesses daily patient care needs and develops and distributes
patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate
patient care is given.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any
issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development
and evaluating of staff.
- Be a resource that staff can call to take care of any issues
regarding patient safety.What You Will Need
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
(AHA) obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of
Nursing . Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
