Assistant Manager responsibilities include ordering equipment based on our needs, managing contracts and payroll and supervising staff performance. To be successful in this role you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service. Ultimately you will help optimize operating cost , boost our employee retention and deliver a positive experience for our guests.

Requirements:
Oversees and executes the overall operation of the store with the general manager.Performs daily administrative/clerical functions of store operations such as cash transactions, ordering supplies, and opening and closing the store.Work a flexible schedule in support of the store opening, production, and closing operations including work on weekends and holidays.Assist in the supervision and training of employees, including setting work schedules for employees.Monitor and ensure a smooth process for all store functions, while adhering to and enforcing security, audit and control procedures.Monitor sales transactions associated with purchases and ensure proper sales procedures are followed.Maintain staffing levels in the store while attaining budgeted payroll expenses. This includes firing, hiring, and training all new associates in accordance with company policies.Maintain a neat and orderly store that is properly equipped and supplied.Assist customers and handle all complaints.Responsible for opening and closing store proceduresResponsible for performing GM duties in their absenceAssists in supervising all AssociatesAssists in training all AssociatesAssists in coaching all AssociatesAssists in developing all AssociatesAssists in staff schedulingReviews all corporate communications and reacts accordinglyPartners with supervisors or corporate office regarding store issuesDrives store sales and controls expensesAssists in merchandising proceduresResponsible for cash handling procedures including but not limited to preparing and dropping bank depositsAuthorizes register functions including post voids, returns and discountsComplies with Human Resources policies and proceduresDelivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customersChecks in shipmentsPerforms store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock roomPI182620612
