welcome. Position Overview Reporting to the Artist Services
Coordinator, Artist Services Assistants are responsible assisting
in the setup and preparation of all backstage artist spaces at the
Walmart AMP, including pre-show day shopping for all tour
hospitality needs, room setups and tear-downs daily, and meeting
all of tour’s hospitality needs on both show and non-show days.
Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Coordinate
Hospitality services for artists presented at the AMP including
pre-day of show off-site shopping, and executing artist dressing
room, stage, tour production and tour bus hospitality Assist with
room changeovers, setups, and decor as needed – which may entail
heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Act as an ambassador of the Walmart AMP
when interacting with artists, clients, guests, and colleagues
Maintain artist services equipment inventory Collaborate with other
departments as required for special projects and other duties as
assigned Provide additional support to the Production department as
needed (e.g. statement preparation, time keeping assistance,
document creation, internal meeting setups) Must maintain
professional demeanor and confidentiality of information heard
while working which includes: never taking pictures of or request
to have a picture taken with members of the tour, their belongings
or equipment, or their personal spaces Monitor and maintain
cleanliness and organization of artist spaces before, during, and
after shows/events Maintain compliance with all company policies
and procedures Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both
on and off-site events, as requested Maintain professional working
relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other
departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces Perform
related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain security and
safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines Maintain
compliance with all company policies and procedures Requirements:

experience in the hospitality industry preferred, but not required
Physical Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able
to talk, listen and speak clearly Must have a working cell phone
and be willing to install basic applications and be willing to use
it for work purposes Must be able to endure sitting or standing for
extended periods of time Must be able to endure standing or walking
for extended periods of time on various surfaces such as concrete,
grass, and inclined surfaces Must be able to endure outdoor
elements including cold, heat, wind, and/or precipitation Must be
able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights,
loud music and noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows
and events
