Essential Functions and Responsibilities


  • Influence the development of a high performing workforce through effective consulting and leadership designed to support the attraction, selection, retention, and development of employees, and advance an inclusive, diverse, and engaged culture. Maintain extensive knowledge of progressive ideas, practices, programs, and trends related to human capital through self-directed research and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic partnership between the business segments and HR by supporting the design and development of proactive solutions.
  • Anticipate business needs and/or issues and contribute to the design and development of HR strategies based on strong business acumen, solicitation of feedback, strategic planning for and delivery of sustainable recommendations designed to support organizational goals.
  • Play a lead role in the prioritization, scheduling, implementation, and delivery of HR solutions that align with business objectives and company policies.
  • Analyze real-time data, trends and predictive data and collaborate with HR experts to deliver critical, evidence-based insights to improve outcomes related to strategic workforce planning and performance.
  • Prepare change management strategies, and provide guidance, and change management support for business leaders through change.
  • Collaborate with, and serve as consultant for, all business leaders on human capital needs and challenges.
  • Work closely with HR to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, business administration, other related fields or an equivalent combination of formal education and eight or more years in most, if not all, of the following job-related areas

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


    • Knowledge of: applicable regulatory agencies, governmental laws and regulations
    • Skills in: teamwork and collaboration and written and verbal skills
    • Ability to: leverage business acumen and understanding of the HR organization and its functions, as well as the industry and competitive environment in which the organization operates
    • Ability to: engage, inspire and influence without direct authority across all levels of the organization
    • Ability to: collect and synthesize large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data
    • Ability to: recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis
    • Ability to: understand and communicate significant knowledge of HR policies, processes and talent management practices
    • Ability to: collaborate and work in a team environment; serving as a project lead
    • Ability to: manage multiple priorities and deliver on-time results
    • Ability to: prepare timely, relevant and understandable written work product substantially free from grammatical, mathematical and typographical errors
    • Ability to: maintain strict confidentiality
    • Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instructions; conduct oral presentations
