OverviewResponsible for overall successful operation of the Human Resource Department, including all company subsidiaries and divisions, in accordance with Corporate and Company strategies and business objectives.ResponsibilitiesThe Director, Human Resources shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:* Responsible for the organization talent management program creating a talent pipeline and ensuring ongoing talent development for current and future business sustainability.* Responsible for the recruitment and hiring practices that identify and develop the best qualified talent pipeline and complies with all Federal Regulations for Affirmative Action and EEO.* Responsible for the organization compensation program in compliance with regional and corporate compensation strategies.* Responsible for the development of company training strategies, conducting and analyzing needs analysis, and supporting corporate goals, including Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Mentoring Programs.* Responsible for the effective management of Company employee relations.* Responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of company benefit strategies, identifying appropriate benefit offerings in coordination with regional benefit administrator and The Linde Group corporate benefit strategies.* Responsible for the evaluation and administration of the company 401(k) savings and retirement plan.* Responsible for the development of Company employee communication strategies.* Develop, recommend, implement, and maintain Company employee policies and procedures.* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including SOX requirements.* Responsible for the evaluation, implementation, data information and reporting capabilities of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).* Responsible for all corporate employee files ensuring that the appropriate privacy measures are followed.* Responsible for the development, maintenance and compliance with the Affirmative Action Program (AAP) and annual Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) report.* Responsible for the development and management of the department budget and controls expenses effectively.* Responsible for the talent management metrics/KPI's, including identifying and reporting.* Hires, trains, develops, and appraises staff effectively. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Consults with legal counsel as appropriate.* Learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Minimum ten (10) years experience, managing the human resource function in a medium to large size company.* Managing within an International business environment preferred.* Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, SAP, and other Company and discipline specific software applications.* Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.* Effective leadership skills.* Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.* Possess a broad understanding and knowledge of local and federal employment regulations covering all aspects of employee relations, benefits, and payroll.
