Job Description:
At Walmart Inc., we are seeking a skilled Backend Chatbot
Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT & Cybersecurity team. The
role focuses on the design, development, and deployment of
sophisticated chatbot systems designed to enhance our retail and
customer service operations. As part of our commitment to
innovation at scale, this position requires deep technical skills
in software development and machine learning, as well as a proven
ability to work on large-scale systems within our multinational
retail environment. Design and develop scalable back-end solutions
for chatbot applications. Integrate AI and machine learning
technologies to enhance the functionality of chatbots. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to determine business and customer
requirements. Test and deploy chatbot systems ensuring
high-performing interactivity and user experience. Maintain and
improve existing chatbot system architectures. Stay updated with
the latest industry trends and technology developments. Strong
proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or
Node.js Experience in AI and machine learning frameworks like
TensorFlow or PyTorch Familiarity with Natural Language Processing
(NLP) technologies Knowledge of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and
server-side data processing Ability to work with both relational
and NoSQL databases Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in relevant programming
languages (e.g., Python, Java) AI or machine learning
certifications (optional but favored)
