Job Number: 124142 Position Title: IT Systems Administrator [Full-Time] Location: Tulsa, OK United States Department Name: Sales & Operations Job Details: PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION Operational Related Work Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, and replicated appropriately Perform regular file backup/archival and purge as necessary. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request. Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies. Advanced skills in Microsoft Administration: Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, MSDN, SharePoint, SQL Server, Windows Server Maintenance Related Work Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary Upgrade and configure system software Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment. SECONDARY JOB DESCRIPTION Backup Helpdesk Support Provide backup assistance with help desk calls, scheduling, and tickets. Basic end-user support to prevent customer service delays for basic technical issues. Under IT staff guidance, perform computer imaging, staging and installation. Assist in the maintenance of IT standards and documentation. Under the guidance of IT staff, inventory technology, equipment and software. Field work and interacting with internal customers. Perform other related duties as required. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience with Microsoft Productions mentioned in Job Description for Advanced Skills Ability to manage time effectively and complete required projects on time. Ability to identify the elements of a situation/ability to visualize, articulate and solve problems. Ability to diplomatically interact and communicate with all levels of an organization Ability to manage time effectively and complete required tasks on time. Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environment EDUCATION: Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science. Four to six years system administration experience. Microsoft certifications or other IT related certifications are a plus. COMPLEXITY/PROBLEM SOLVING: Position deals with a variety of problems and sometime has to decide which answer is best. The question/issues are typically clear and requires determination of which answer (from a few choices) is the best. DISCRETION/LATITUDE/DECISION-MAKING: Decisions normally have a noticeable effect department-wide and company-wide, and judgment errors can typically require one to two weeks to correct or reverse. RESPONSIBILITY/OVERSIGHT -FINANCIAL & SUPERVISORY: Functions as a lead worker doing the work similar to those in the work unit Reports to IT Director and work with Helpdesk Manager COMMUNICATIONS/INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS: Interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues. May resolve problems within established practices. Provides occasional guidance, some of which is technical. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT: Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice. Some travel required.
