The Claims Specialist will be responsible for independently and
proactively managing the property/casualty claims program within
our Commercial Lines Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages and communicates claims issues with client, carrier or
Reviews claim status regularly and follows up as needed
Provides status reports to clients and keeps sales team informed
Researches and obtains claims data from carriers as needed
Handles claims consistent with our clients and corporate
policies, procedures and HUB Broker Standards and also in
accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethics
Responsible for keeping Broker Management System up to date with
correspondence and/or notes on open claims

Experience and Education
1-3 years of insurance brokerage or property/casualty claims
Adjusters License, Agents License or CSR License preferred
Bachelors degree preferred

Public Speaking/Language Skills:

speak effectively customers and teammates.
Bilingual in English and Spanish a big plus.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal
with several abstract and concrete variables.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be
proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power
Point; follow guidelines on working in BMS (EPIC) for premium
efficiency with your team.
