Occupational Therapy Assistant
Inpatient Physical Medicine
PRN Day shift. 8am-4:30pm. Days of week vary. Weekend

What You Will Do:
Conduct medically prescribed occupational
therapy under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
What You Will Need:
- Implement an established treatment plan using appropriate
- Document findings of patient
- Seek consultation as necessary.
- Monitor patient's response to treatment plan.
- Communicate patient progress and possible goal revisions
to occupational therapist.
- Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient
- Provide discharge planning assistance and information regarding
appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community
- May oversee the care provided by therapy 3-Technicians
according to established regulations and practice standards.
Licensure / Certification /
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
(AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job
transfer date required.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (COTA)
credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and
- Occupational Therapist Assistant temporary letter will be
accepted until license is issued required.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
No additional preferences.
