We Are Hiring:
Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor
Ascension St. John Medical Center - Tulsa,
Full Time - Days
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm.
Work every other weekend.
What You Will Do:
Provides behavioral health counseling
What You Will Need:
- Conduct patient assessment and establish therapy treatment
- Maintain thorough and confidential records of
- Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy
- Provide patient with information regarding resources and
therapeutic activities in the community.
- Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community
providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation
of treatment to the time of discharge.
Licensure / Certification /
One or more of the following required:
- Counselor credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed
from the Oklahoma State Board of
Licensed Social Workers.
- Oklahoma License (LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor) or
(LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or (LMFT-Licensed Marriage
and Family Therapist) or (LADC/MH - Licensed Alcohol and Drug
Counselor/Mental Health Certified)
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
- Clinical Counselor preferred.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
No additional preferences.
