Job Description Wedlake Fabricating IES Infrastructure Solutions Title: Sheet Metal Assembler Status: Hourly Reports To: General Manager Location: Tulsa, OK Primary Responsibility: The candidate will require experience or ability to assemble pre-fabricated metal panels and structure (mild steel, galvaneal, or aluminum), using both welding (GMAW/MIG) and bolt-on assembly methods. Responsibilities and Duties: * Proficient using basic hand and air tools such as drill, grinder, cutting wheels, wrench, and clamps. * Demonstrate ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required) * Ability to tack and stitch weld using GMAW/ MIG welding methods * Required to follow written and verbal work instructions * Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs. Qualifications: * Flexibility to work in other related departments as required. Education, Experience and Skills Required: * 1+ year of on-the-job experience in related field or industry (metal fabrication, construction, welding, etc) * Attended trade school and completed program in welding or construction * Experience reading blue prints is a plus This job description is not a contract between the company and any person.
